How does it work?
Are you a professional looking for a room in a shared house in London? Love London Living can help. We provide fully furnished rooms in houses that you will share with other professionals. No more trying to work out how to split the water and gas bills – your monthly rent will include everything from gas, electricity, council tax, water, Wi-Fi and even a weekly cleaner. The rooms and houses are fully equipped to a high standard for your benefit and enjoyment and professionals will be matched with likeminded individuals to create a friendly home.
The accommodation offers a more sociable and flexible arrangement for individuals looking to join a community of similar people. Equally, organisations looking to save on accommodation costs for employees will benefit from having rooms available at a fixed rate.
What fees will I have to pay to rent through Love London Living in addition to my rent?
Tenants no longer pay any fees when renting a room or property. You will have to pay a months’ rent for your deposit and first rental payment in advance. Rent is due on 1st of each month so the first payment is calculated up until the end of the month or following month, depending on your tenancy start date. A holding deposit of roughly one weeks’ rent is also due initially whilst we do referencing and contracts - this goes towards your main deposit.
What do you do with my deposit?
This will be registered with one of three government protection deposit schemes (www.depositprotection.com) and held until the end of the tenancy. This is refundable providing there are no damages to the room that were your fault. Any damage negotiations will need to be agreed in writing and any disagreements will be reviewed by an independent arbitrator.
How much are the rooms?
Typical room prices start from £750 per month and range up to £1150 pcm. The price varies depending on location of the property, specification and whether there is an en-suite or shared living room.

Where are your properties located?
Currently we have houses in the South West area of London i.e. Clapham, Battersea and Balham but are looking to expand to other locations soon.
What bills are included?
Your monthly rent includes the rent for your room, gas & electricity, water, TV licence, council tax, Wi-Fi and a weekly cleaner for communal areas.
Who do I speak to about any maintenance issues?
You will have a point of contact at Love London Living who will organise any maintenance with the Landlord.
What else do I need to know?
Our rooms will be provided furnished and all amenities in the house i.e. kitchenware will be included.
There is a limit to the number of occupants we house in each property – we will ensure your co-residents are respectful and professional. We do not accept couples.
